I’m Alex Gilliland, a writer and communications strategist specializing in health care and rapid response.

I started my career as a TV news producer for ABC and NBC before moving to Capitol Hill where I served as press secretary and communications director for several members of Congress. This experience shapes how I work; I know how stories are framed, how policy is distilled, and what executives need to communicate with clarity and confidence.

For the past three years I've partnered with health care systems and CEOs to define their message, build and reinforce their leadership, and advance the outcomes that matter most to them. I’m based in Los Angeles and spend as much time as I can outside.
